Is there anything special you must do to removing and engine with the trans if it has an aluminum intake. Should you use something like a carb bracket for lifting from Jegs or are there other brackets to install that you should use.

Is there something you have to do to be able to run a OEM Tack like the KK tack used in the 66 chevelle If you have a HEI ignition system? I currently have a SunPro tack from 1997 that a PO installed in the Blue Chevelle. I have an extra original KK tack in the drawer. I would like to use the KK tack if possible....

Tilt is now working fine except I must have made a mistake on re-installing the column. Shift lever is fine. But the Tilt and Blinker levers are rotated down counterclockwise about 30*. And tilt rotates up an down from around 11 to 5 instead of 12 to 6. This is getting to be a pain along MC being the wron...

Someone added power disc brakes tp my 66. Not sure if it came with manual or power drum. It is not stoping like I think it should. I might add I have no experience in this area. Installed a new fuel line from the pump to the carb, should be a bit more reliable than the PO owners clever contraption of odd parts. Currently not aware of the next thing that needs to replaced (Stanitized), hopefully its all good for now

My car seems want to get the choke or something else stuck much of the time when slowing down. A tap of the gas pedal will drop it back down. Nothing is obviously sticking, the choke opens all the way when warm. I put a little oil on the shafts and seemed to be a bit better. Any suggestions?? -- Edited by BLyke...

Well I started tearing into the 12 bolt for the chevelle. Needs everything of coarse but I wanted to get it apart to start cleaning everything. I also wanted to make sure the 11 inch drum brake setup was going to work. Everything bolted right up so all is good on that concern. Here is a couple pics.
