Got one seat in!
(Preview)
I didn't have a lot of time today, but I finally got the driver's seat in. Had to re-trim the carpet some and make some new holes, then mount the brackets. The seats sit higher than my other ones, hope they settle down some, my head just touches the headliner and that's with the seats at their lowest mount...

Need quick electrical help please
(Preview)
This might get long as I want to be clear. I installed dual electric fans from a Ford Windstar last year. I also put in a high output alternator. One expert says run a wire from the alt to the battery and run the fans off the battery (option 1). Another expert says no, that the battery starts the car and the...

When I bought this '72 Chevelle, I knew it had a few 'mechanical' issues and that the current setup was not streetable or driver friendly. It had 4.11 gears and a TH400 with the tightest low rpm converter I had ever driven (it chirped the tires going into reverse or drive when parked!). I'm building th...

Rear Window Leak
(Preview)
So I discovered the rear windows still leaks in my new Chevelle. All I know what to do is caulk it up, maybe from the inside but I know that won't seal 100%. Can anybody maybe help me try to seal this up right? Surprisingly, I have never removed a piece of trim in the 10 or so Chevelles I have owned since 1977 so...

reminded me that the engine mounts/frame perches are different! Too bad I remembered that as I was trying to set the engine down. It looks like the easiest option is to just get new 307 mounts?
