"Body in White" new Camaro shell info
(Preview)
For anyone who's not familiar with the term, a "Body in White" car is a non-VINable bare sheetmetal shell of a car that is used for racing or show only. It cannot ever be titled as a kit car or reconstruction/salvage. The term goes back to when the cars were left in a light grey/white primer be...

They Can Be Taught!
(Preview)
I was gently reminded by my daughter "Hey Dad... remember I'm going back to school Saturday, and "Sally" needs an oil change." So I'm about to dive under Sally's skirts (2000 Dodge Stratus) and giver the once-over. (I'm really glad that all my harping about being attentive, listening to the machine...

Well....Looks like another local speed shop/hot rod parts source is closing.
(Preview)
I guess we can now say good by to Ed's Twin City Rod and Custom. Not much in muscle car era stuff but he was a pretty good local source for hot rod parts. His store was REALLLY HANDY to have around if you were looking for a custom type part and wanted to see the parts before hand. He primarily catered to the stre...

No World of Wheels....alternative in SD
(Preview)
There is no World of Wheels in MN this year and possibly anymore for a while. The promoters are aging and after losing money on the event here the past few years, they decided to skip MN. There is another show that is a benefit in Sioux Falls SD about the same time. A few of the Camaro Club members are taking t...

Bonehead move in the garage
(Preview)
First-a genius move. When we moved, 67SS had the great idea to ziptie 2 autodollies together, put plywood on top, and we put my compressor on top of that. Moved onto the truck fairly easily considering it's a top heavy 3 legged thing going up a relatively steep ramp. It was ratcheted to the truck and did...

Any '69 interior experts?
(Preview)
I was going through some of the pix from the old restoration of my car and found an interesting one of the dash. I believe it to be the original dash as it was in the car prior to restoration. It is a lousy picture as it is a scanned 2X2 original polaroid photo. In the center of the dash above the heater cont...

Would anyone in the Brooklyn Park area be able to pick up a couple of 66 Manual?
(Preview)
A guy in Brooklyn Park has a couple of manuals on 66 chevelle that he would sell to me. He would rather have someone pick them up than mail or ups them. Not sure where he lives, but the ad on craigslist says Brooklyn Park. Though maybe you could just bring them to the meeting in Jan at Karls. Thanks.
