I got a new digital camera (not fancy, just "snapshot"), some work boots, and a new hood spear for the Elky.

Cool, a band saw has been on my wish list for awhile too. I got some small stuff, a craftsman LED worklight that will be handy. And a bigger present that hasn't arrived yet, that's the only clue I got headscratch

Permission to explore new wheels...

I still have to clear the final costs with the wife, but after sharing the bigger picture with her, it looks like track-only (but still DOT-legal) 18s might actually happen!

CP-that's nice. I'm thinking about getting a chop saw just to make pieces of stuff to stick together again as practice.

That band saw will be nice for cutting thicker material. I have a chop saw and cutting 1/8th and thicker is a PITA. All it does is work harden the steel with heat.

Bryan- I plan on keeping them as my 'street' wheels and having the 18s be 'track' wheels...with more aggressive non-rain friendly rubber.

But if I ever change my mind and decide to move these Edelbrock 17x8s, you officially have first crack at them...

I didn't get anything, but I also didn't have to give anything... we don't have a lot of extra space right now, and figure a new house will be a big enough present for both of us. The kids got plenty though, mostly small stuff.

I payed a year ahead on Cathy's XM radio in her new car. You can actually deal to beat hell with those people when you get them on the phone. Cathy bought a smoker that I actually bought in Sept or so, she just declared it my gift and that was it. That's all good, don't need a lot of stuff. Could use the cruise though as long as it is below 0 here when you go!razz
