“We have some good news”. We have already completed our talks with the city management of North St Paul. Everything is hammered out, the new contract is inked and the city council will be voting the first of February to approve the 2021 show season. The “Tentative” dates are June 4th – September 24th, n...

A while back, Derek mentioned The Brothers having a huge collector car collection. They have been working to open it, on VERY limited basis, to the public. This is a short video taken of what is in that collection. https://youtu.be/6cIDqAfOpwA

What’s everyone using for wax these days? It’s been a while since I waxed a car, so my knowledge is likely out of date. It’s next on the list after the pinion seal and alternator belt.

I had a chance to take a similiar class back in 2019 and kicked myself for not doing so. Im now registered for the class in Davenport, featuring House Of Kolor products & being taught by John Kosmoski himself. They also do some classes related to just pinstriping the entire weekend that ive always w...

To go for a little spin yesterday. I was planning on a drive, but MNDOT in their infinite wisdom, decided to salt the roadways again on Thursday morning when it was 35 degrees. Oh well. Just need another good rain.

Time to update some of my interior on the 69. Carpeting and insulation are first. I was looking at Ground Up and they offer a "Flat Line" insulation. The name is new to me, anyone use this product? They offer two carpet selections, with and without a "Mass" backing. They say the backing replaces the nor...

Friday afternoon, Jenny sent an e-mail to Chris P. and me. The only thing in the body of the message was a link to an ad with the attached pictures. Some of you know Jenny is a fan of 442s, candy apple red, automatic transmissions, and 455s. Kathy Mattea’s “455 Rocket” is kind of her anthem. I wasn’t hom...

Going to tear into the front end of the '71 this weekend to install the disc brake conversion and lower springs, so I looked at the control arm bushings on the car and they are all shot. Thoughts on a reasonably priced set of upper and lower front control arms with a budget of $500 or less as opposed to rebui...

When I put the ceiling in the shop this summer, I replaced the cfl bulbs with LED and thought it was a LOT brighter in there. Working on the Camaro the past 6 weeks, I realize it is still FAR short of what I would like. I bought 2 4ft and 3 8 ft LED strip lights on sale at Menard's a couple weeks ago and just got the...

Swiped this off the internet... Story is it was the '55 Lincoln "Futura" concept/show car. Barris bought it for a Dollar. ($1). Turned into the Batmobile for the TV show.

To like the 4 headlight 69 convertible, and while it's a nice driver car...it wasn't a '71 with 2 headlights and 4 nice round tail lights. So, after I went through the journey with the '71 roller in Iowa last weekend, I asked Chris S. which dealer Jenny's 442 came from and when I looked at their on-line i...

I missed the meeting on Saturday because I was making a deal on this thing... Seller was very honest & up front & I was able to see all the issues. Floor pans are decent, not ideal, some patching in the typical spots but does not need floor pans or braces. Its definitely a 20 footer but none of the pa...

We had several members attend, got Club business taken care of, then played two rounds of "Outburst" - boys vs. girls. (It was a tie). Lotsa Fun!

For the last couple of years Tami has been running either a garden hose or carrying 5 gallon buckets of water out to the barn to fill up her horse tank.
