Swiped this off the internet...

Story is it was the '55 Lincoln "Futura" concept/show car. Barris bought it for a Dollar. ($1). Turned into the Batmobile for the TV show.

Wow, maybe the best deal everrolleyes

However if money was no object, I'd prefer Carroll Shelby's own Cobra, at 5.94M

After reading about the record high sale prices at Mecum last weekend, our "hobby" just took another huge hit in the "affordability" category.
