Went to check the diff fluid tonight, and the 3/8" square on the plug has been rounded in the corners. Tried a few things, but couldn't get it to budge. Any ideas?

Well here are some details. It is a 1966 300 deluxe car. I bought it from the son of the original owner, has 150,000 original on it. It was bought new at main motors in anoka. Just got through calling a recycler in st. paul. Quote me about 215 a ton for cast iron. Did I hear him right? If so that works out to around $1 a lb. Maybe I will have to call that guy back with the chevelle that is pretty much ready for the chruser.
