While working on carb with engine running car went into reverse. Looks like maybe those stops in the column are worsen or missing. Someone experienced with classic cars with column shifter.

Late model dodge 4x4 crew cab dually. We usually only use 2 hoists, however, was easier to just hang the drivetrain on one and roll frames around.
