Saw this in a '67 300 Deluxe for sale in Des Moines, and thought it's one of the best LS engines I've seen that looks like a Gen 1 SBC:

I guess that ugly LS baby can be dressed up to be prettier!  laughingstirpot

I have mixed opinions on these types of builds... I really don't like things that are "fake" but I guess this is more of a "disguise".

Personal opinion, move the coilpacks and the LS is a fine looking engine.
Coilpacks on the valve cover are ugly, but I'm tempted to put mine back there just for the convenience and serviceability.
