It's a salvage car from Copart. Their fees are a bit nuts. With sales tax, transfer and plate fees added to their "buyer fee" and gate fee and internet bidding fee, I ended up paying another $1,000. I have both doors and the rear axle lined up and should get them on Wednesday. Big thanks to Bry...

I know where a 69 real SS with numbers matching 396 is that is for sale. The paint is good probably 7 - 8 on a scale of 1 - 10. The engine has 5500 miles on a good professional rebuild, interior probably about a 6 -7 tires and chrome are good. 4 speed with build sheet. No rust or dents. Runs drives pretty much ju...

This is one nasty little LS in a '69 Chevelle. It's basically a stock 5.3 litre with twin turbos. He's just getting it going, so pretty quick and short videos, but it gives me chills what these little engines can do!

Here's the whole thread with the whole build. It takes some guts to jump int...

While running around snagging parts today Angie and I stopped by Route 65 Classics, in Ham Lake and checked out the cars. Nice stuff, lots of Mopars, she liked the 57 T Bird and I like the 69 Camaro vert wish it had A/C and a 4 speed. They are interested in doing club functions, might be something for some fu...

I saw this on another site, thought I would share. Aftermarket parts. We get these parts from varied sources...

Transforming this mess... Into this... I still need to sort and deal with all the "stuff" I took off the top but I have more room and my jack stands fit in this unit. The old condiment counter is FREE in the classifieds forum.

Have you ever had an old buddy say, take my car for a spin? Yet, you have reservations and do not want to risk putting a ding in his car. If an old trusted guy that you’ve been through some stuff with in years past, offers you that opportunity to take his car for a drive, what would you do? Well it’s happened to...

...for now. Going to look at this one tomorrow. Jenna will be working so she can't go with, but she gave me the go-ahead to make an offer without her even seeing it. Said she trusts my judgement... she must be nuts, I don't even trust my judgement most of the time.

Ok, I've been needled about being thrifty, frugal, or even downright cheap when it comes to building my hotrod, or in other projects. I'm somewhat famous for re-using or re-purposing stuff for other tasks. Well your jabs are now truly justified. There's no way I'm giving $75 worth of gas to the salvag...

All this unusually warm weather is making me long for Spring and bringing the '52 home and getting the cars out again. Working full time this winter hasn't left me any time for my own restoration work, but they are all still together and drivable too..

This is last winter Today. Frosty but little snow. I'm standing 35 ft from this tree. Last Spring when the flowering crabs were in bloom. Eastern Bluebird taking a bath in the back yard.

Currently, I have perfectly fine seats that were already recovered with new buns installed back in the late 90's. But I found a pretty slick looking set of custom covers for my 66 buckets. Being a self admitted CL surfer... I'm curious what key words others surf on a regular basis? I use 'garage' and am amazed at the different types of things that show up there. For Christmas I got my 9 year old a electronic tuner for his guitar. It was bad enough listening to him practice and then out of tune even worse.
