It's a salvage car from Copart. Their fees are a bit nuts. With sales tax, transfer and plate fees added to their "buyer fee" and gate fee and internet bidding fee, I ended up paying another $1,000. I have both doors and the rear axle lined up and should get them on Wednesday. Big thanks to Bryan for running the VIN and telling me how the car is optioned. I wanted one with ABS and this car has that, along with many other goodies.

Looks like that right rear will also need a few control arms and spindle peices too.

That Copart deal does look intersting. Do you mind if I ask how much you that cost you out the door after fees? Did they give you a hard time about this bringing a truck and trailer into the yard rule or did they bring it outside for you to load up?

Car was $3450. After all the taxes and fees, $4412 of which $675 goes to Copart.

I will be replacing the entire axle tube and control arms. Possibly the right strut assembly too. I pick it up Monday, as it's in Avon, MN.

Kevin, it's mostly bolt on repair. Any damage to the A and B pillars will get straightened where I work and the doors hung. Then it will go to paint. I'm hoping to come in just under 7k when it's all over. It is an '08 with 50,000 miles. I need something that gets better mileage than a 4 wheel drive pick up and this will keep the miles from adding up on my K1500 too.

All I need is a car trailer and a place to put all my stuff. I have junk spread out everywhere.

10 seems to be the magic number.  I have 10 cars myself if you count my step-daughters car that is in my wifes name.  4 drivers and 6 hobby cars.
