John D., what's up with the pepto counter?  Too many adult beverages combined with polishing compound from the demo?  laughing

I saw Tim posted that we need a Cars Apart Calendar to motivate us. Is it possible to put more than one countdown counter on the forum?

Some ideas:

CAC

Next Meeting Date

Dec. 21st, 2012 End of Days stirpot

Quite honestly I'd forgotten about the "after time expires" message until today...
My thinking was after over-indulgence on the great spread that Karl & Crew layed out, there'd be a need.

I can put multiple countdowns up:

I usually do the next meeting...

As far as C.A.C. - we'll need a conscensus on the end date.

And concerning the Mayan's, I have it on direct Vatican request that a group of Minnesotans will be singing at St. Peter's, spring of 2013 - so "poo-poo" on the Mayans.

That's good on multiple counters.  I think last year you used the first weekend in May?  Can't remember for sure, but that is the first big show at the fair grounds being the Buick club sponsored show and swap.

Lol on the Dec. counter!  laughing

Oh yes the Buick show, what great memory’s, I remember as we turned onto Snelling Avenue the bank sign said 30* we turned into the Fair Grounds just as the snow began to come down sideways.

I also recall Tom was wearing shorts; yep, great memories, seem to recall Mitch was there, he and I stood in line forever to get a hot cup of coffee.

I was really wishing I had my camera that day to get a dated pic of Tom in his shorts and the snow....laughing

And YES, it was cold standing there in the wind. The hot chocolate didn't help for long. Frank and Amy were there for a short time also. I think we all cleared out by 10 am. Lets hope for a better start to the summer this year.
