Should be obvious wants wrong. I need to rotate the oil fill tube a bit. Don’t want to damage the chrome. I taped it up and tried to use a large chanel lock pliers. No luck. I met a guy at a show in Az Saturday that has a '66 Impala 3 seat Wagon with an original 396/325hp and a M20 4 speed. I know we can find how many Chevelles were built with specific options but is there a site to locate that information for the Impala? I thought it would be in the GM Heritage vehicle information...

I never knew about these. Serious heavy duty truck and industrial engines. This is a really neat video. Unfortunately the audio quality is poor, but on the positive side, the "reporter" seems to actually be knowledgeable about engines & machining.

Does anyone have a suggested order of operations for sheet metal work on a 66 chevelle. Most of the sheet metal is going to be replaced. Just wondering if there is a generic order to do things it. Example 1. Trunk floor 2. Inner outer wheel wells 3. Quarter panels 4. Etc.

Also the caliper brackets. Plates look gold with orginal plating but some paint. The other side is pretty much brace dust, same for brackets. I washer and scrubbed with dawn soap. I am thinking about 3m stripper for the paint and then oven cleaner and then 409. But I don’t want to disrupt the origi...
