I turn the key to the "on" or accessory position and I have no power. But when I turn further I can get it to turn over. Not sure what the issue is? This did have an HEI before so I don't think it's the fusible link. I did get a new alternator, but it is a two wire that should work with the external...

 Yes as the title states save your brass if you shoot. I found a way to reuse 22LR brass even so If you do shoot save the brass whatever caliber you have we can work out some type of trade if I have the dies for it.

60 and 70 ish instrument lighting was provided by a 194 bulb. If I remember correctly there is also a 184 bulb which one is brighter?

I guess I'm getting old... My Chevelle has 10+ year old Magnaflow mufflers and it's much louder than I like at idle and REALLY loud under throttle (now that I can hear it with the engine running good!). Even with stock exhaust manifolds it's just as loud as it was with headers which tells me the muffle...
