Adding a power seat, any tips on wiring?
(Preview)
I'm planning to install a drivers power bucket seat and i do not see any easy way to tie it into my fuse panel. if there isn't one will likely just run a fused line from the battery. Hoping one of you have done this in the past and can offer first hand proven advise. Thanks (it should not be relevant, but my sea...

Yet another shout out to Master Trans and Chris P.!
(Preview)
I had the Malibu out for a Spring drive about 3 weeks ago one Saturday afternoon when it was about 65 degrees out, and ended up at Gearlube's place. When I left, I did what I thought was a nice burnout after he egged me on..., and the next day he tells me 'pretty good for one tire....'. I was disappointed as...

Looking to raise the rear a little on the 66
(Preview)
I I I Iwould like to explore exposing a little more on my rear tire. So I was thinking of using some kind of spacer as a trial to see how it would look. It looks like there are two types of spacer, and adjustable type and a type that you just set between a couple of coils. Is one preferred over the other? Af...

The engine in my '62 Impala is from an 80-85 era truck. It had no dipstick but there were 2 in the car. Neither fit because they were too big. I started searching on line and that era block does have a different tube. I bought 2 tubes and they were both too large to fit in the block... I wasn't able...

How do you get the picture to appear in the post when attaching?
(Preview)
When I attach pics, they only show up in the attachments area, and not in the post. Is it a formatting thing? I've noticed when some of you attach a pic, it's also in the body of the post, and want to figure out how to do that without uploading to Photobucket and pasting the URL into the post. Thanks.

A local pal of mine is doing logos for a new classic car club web deal. I'll be working with him on some of their how-to videos. He asked me to choose my preferred logo, and also to get an opinion from any local car guys I know. So, I wanted to put this out there and just ask- Which do you prefer?

Camaro power output over the years
(Preview)
The graph is in the story too, but this shows how crazy the power has changed over the years. I would assume the initial drop is when they changed from brake horsepower (bhp) to net horsepower in 1971 since most of the actual power drop started in 1975. http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2015/02/...
