Mitch had a thread showing his artistry on a Jeep.

On a retail Insurance repair we usually end up replacing the entire frame, or if there is a factory supplied repair section we have done that.

This is the typical approach, note specialized, custom fabricated engine lift frame.

P.S. the angle iron used was re-purposed from an A-frame cart we made for the blue Elky when it was being sandblasted and moved around shop, 20+ years ago.

Mitch is a great fabricator, and can pretty much do anything he puts his mind to.

Centerline is fortunate he is available, there are not many left that have the skills and are willing to perform that operation.

As an aside, with the death of Dick Clemmer, Dicks Hot Rod Shop is now closed.

Hammered so hard on suspension (note bushings pushed out of control arm) suspension mounts were damaged.

Todays standards do not allow repair.

Technician would rather do Fords and Chev frames, Dodge is not rational in some of their assembly decisions.

Karl, I didn't know Dicks had closed. John, who owned the trans shop in Rosemount worked for him after he sold that. He is a heck of a mechanic and may be interested in a job, but I don’t have his cell number handy where I am. Maybe Stan still has it, if you are interested in talking with him.

That's heartbreaking that he has passed away & the shop closed.

My favorite Tranny guy Duane, who owns Burnsville TSI and John know each other well.
Thanks for the thought.

Some of the staff have new positions with Dicks/Lakeville Sanitation.

Dick and his wife Maryanne were past Lakeville Business Persons of the year, great people.

I hear her health is not great at this time.

Seems like the options for Restoration keep narrowing.
Kind of like trying to find a shoe repair shop.banghead
