For those that were not able to be at Game Night I have been wiring the Bug. Here are some videos of the progress

Really like the "switchback" front turn indicators!

Been a bit since I have posted an update on the Bug, so here goes.

Electrical is done, except for the dome light.  The wires are in, but I need to get some jam switches.

Radio is installed.  I just need to run the microphone for the hands free

New gas tank is in, float connected to the dash module and calibrated

The Bug is now moving under its own power

Weatherstripping is installed on the doors and front and rear lids.

Lock for the front deck lid is adjusted

Bought a pair of seats from a 2007 Mini Cooper for $60.  Built a set of mounts to adapt between the factory mounts/tracks of the Bug and the factory tracks on the Mini Cooper seats.  They are a very good  fit

I have the driver side seat belt 'loosy' in to see if they interfere with the seat travel.

Got the Bug back from the interior shop today.  Jon H. had work done by this guy. In hinge sign, I probably should have had him use his material for the 'headliner'. We purchased a kit, thinking we were going to do it ourselves, but life go in the way.  The headliner was not the most cooperative for him.

What has been done looks great. Assuming you are installing the front seats and maybe the door panels ?

6 way power, leather, seats with heat and massage ? ...thumbsup

Very nice! Someone's having fun, winter driving without glass installed

Awesome project! I always find that part where the project is winding down toward completion a little bittersweet. The more parts you install, the more hard work you cover up.

It looks great Hank, anxious to get home and see it in person. I bet Karen is busting at the seems to get behind the wheel.

Started to install some windows.  Karen and I installed the rear quarter windows.  With the help of Chris and Jenny S., we installed the rear window and front windshield.  Thanks Guys! Could not have done it without your help.  Starting to install the vent and door windows.
