It's not home yet, but will be soon... I bought Dad's '55 project that has been sitting around unfinished for 42 years. nana

Looks pretty clean. Very much like the '54 I brought home from Wyoming last fall.
What's the plan ? Get running and leave original, or gasser...stirpot

Gasser style, but not real high. Stance of the American Grafitti car is perfect,

Temporarily, I might color-match the fenders and doors and make it driveable, but eventually I think either Aztec Bronze or Black.

You now have permission to procrastinate another 32 years...dunno

Gasser is cool. Same thing I plan to do to the '54 and not high, just straight axle for the image.

There are some really cool conversion kits around, but OMG, are they expensive. I may have to keep an eye out for a mid 50's 1/2 ton axle.

Just one, and it's still sitting on my trailer unassembled while I decide what to do with it... I bought it used real cheap, but it's bigger than what I really want/need.

12,000lb capacity. It's 17' long and 11' wide at the posts.

How much clearance under it ? Those are usually rather low.

It goes high enough to walk under it, but with my 10' ceiling I couldn't put a car on it that high... I'll probably have to let the air out of the tires of the top car just to get enough room to put another car under it.

If you decide not to use it let me know. I'd have to put 12" risers under the legs to get my pickup under, but that can be done...thumbsup
