Engine mis-fires under load
(Preview)
Just finishing my inner fender replacement and started the engine for the first time in nearly a month. While apart I replaced the sparkplugs (was 43xls now 44xls as book calls out), points, cap, rotor. Did not replace wires as they are fairly new. Unknowingly had ignition in on position (probably 1-...

Roll Cage ?
(Preview)
Considering a roll cage talked to Greenlight Performance and from what I heard they do excellent work, it is NOT cheap wow $2000.00. They use Chrome Moly and TIG weld it. This is a turn key custom cage. Any ideas if this seems to be in the ball park ? I see cages for sale very cheap but do not know how go...

Sighting
(Preview)
I've personally had a visual on a 1965 jet black El Camino on the south side some 25 miles from its home base. Any evidence of past mechanical issues has been remedied; in fact it was running like a top as it quickly disappeared down the street.Well done to the owner operator the transport was spotless...

Storm damage in the hood last night

Our son get's up at 4 a.m. to get ready for work at Menard's on the early stocking shift, and woke us up this a.m. and told us to go the lowest level. The lightning, north winds, hail, and rain were incredible. When I left the house, there were 15 year old trees uprooted in our neighborhood, and all the wood...

1965 Buick Flip Top
(Preview)
Must be in the water on the south side. We picked up this 1965 Buick Special; she’s watertight, drives straight and has a rip roaring Fireball V6 backed by a Powerglide. It’s clean, very original and everything works only the wheels are changed but the original hubcaps and 14” rims and tires where in th...

So I get home from work and my wife says the pump hose for the pool is leaking. We already had replaced the hose once, but now it's where the hose connects to the pool side. A simple fix, but it took a little time to cut the hose shorter and re-attach it while it spews out a gallon every 4 seconds from both sides...

These are not 66, because they have the towanda sticker and are not 67 because they do not have the large dent on the lower rear corner of the drivers side for the brake booster.
