There is a clip of the ending from someone else, but there's a chunk missing. So you're not tempted to (or accidentally) read ahead, I'll post the link to the ending with a quick summary of the missing stuff on my whiteboard. You can get there by clicking on my screen name above the pic of my car.

The movie is called "Catch me if you can" and it does NOT star Leonardo DiCrappio.

Here's the trailer:

I own a recording of that Catch Me If You can movie that came off HBO around the mid 90s's. No commercials and unedited. Not that it mattered, there wasnt much to adult content to edit from. I think Derek still has the that copy of my tape.

It came out my junior year of HS and my friend down a few houses actually won a pair of free passes to see that movie from KDWB (they actually played good music back then). Called me last minute on a school night and asked me if I wanted to go see this Catch Me If You Can movie, my parents gave me permission and his parents gave us a ride to the theater. I had never heard of it before till that night.

Its entirely filmed in MN and im supprised it never comes up at any car shows or anything like that. You would think someone in the car hobby in MN would have backround info about this movie. Mostly filmed around the St. Cloud area. A lot of cool cars in the movie. Its still one of my favorites.

I have that movie. I got it so long ago, it's on VHS. It's kinda cheesy and low budget, but I like it and every once in a while, I'll pull it out and watch it. If you're a gearhead, you'd like it too. I also like that it's filmed in MN.

The box says 1989, 105 minutes, rated PG.

Yeah, when I swapped the interior on my car, I had to clean the black stuff first. I popped that movie in, grabbed the Simple Green and a new bottle of Appleton Estate Rum. Took me 1/2 a bottle to finish the movie and door panels....... It's a great garage movie.

Yup, and through all the moves, it's still in a spot where "I won't forget it next time I go to a meeting". ...even rode up in the glove box a few times, only to forget and bring it back home again. doh

Its no big deal, its been years since I lent it and im cool whenever when ever you make it up to the next event.cool

That tape is over 20 years old and it wasnt recorded in the best sound quality option. SLP I think it was. So it would likely be a miracle that the sound on the tape is even good anymore. It would be cool if they did come out with it on DVD though.
