NCRS Chevelle Documentation
(Preview)
Well I decided to spend the $50 to see where my car was delivered and when the production date was. Just got the information today. Production date was 12/23/1965 and built at the Flint plant. Is this the date it went into production or the date it was finished or the date the cowl tag was generated? C...

A few years ago, some of you went to Brett Berg's shop to meet him and see his pulling tractor. (Unfortunately, I was not yet a member and was not there.) Brett is a friend of our president, Craig S. My only connection with Brett is from quite a few years ago when I was a tractor pulling fan. Brett and his Dad (...

With any luck, my new 327 is going into the blue beast this weekend. Since the current exhaust is an ancient single, I am looking for someone to put together a "manifold-back" system that doesn't break the bank. Does anyone haVe experience with a shop that they can recommend? Thanks Jo...

Issues with my pinion seal again

When I got home from Car Craft on Friday, gear oil all over, Pinion oil seal is leaking again. I though I had the issue solved; but taking the pinion flange off again today. I thought I did everything right. So I hope it is just the spring coming off the seal or something simple. Could the seal be inst...

Say a tempting 65 Buck GS Convertible

Maybe I will have to take after Kevin and buy a 65 GS Convertible. Seemed to have all original sheet metal in good shape; but I would have to craw under it to make sure floor and trunk are good. It has a poor paint job from 1981, so eventually I would need new paint; but acceptable to drive as is, otherwise...

Happy Fathers Day to the Dad's in the club. Extended ones too, for all that you do for your kids (i.e. starting cars in -20 degree weather, making sure they have good windshield wipers, and that they check the oil at least twice a year LOL)! I took the family to Famous Dave's last night for 'Dad's Choice'...
