My bucket seats were looking pretty ratty lately. The springs and foam had seen there better day leaving me pretty much sitgting on the floor pan. This spring I thought it was time to update them but with no seat covers, etc., available I didn't hold out much hope for getting it done this year. In May I was searching suppliers and was surprised to find black Legenday seat covers avaiable from NPD. I called and confirmed my find and they said they had two sets. With seats, covers and foam in hand I set out to find a good upholstery place. Everyone was booked until August at the earliest. I dropped by Thread Baron in Andover (thanks Bill) to plead my case and he squeezed me into his schedule early. With the seats out the carpet looked pretty ratty not to mention the sound proofing of days gone by. Last week while the seeats were getting new covers, foam and some spring repair I replaced the sound/heat mat, carpeting, rewired some overdue issues, replaced a faulty speedometer cable (thanks Stan) and the seat bases and backs and a few other trim pieces got a fresh coat of  paint. Unfortunately I picked one of the hottest weeks of the year to do the work. Saturday morning I finished and I am officially out of the CAC club and back on the road. Until the next project that is...

Didn't take many pics of my progress. I have always wanted Legendary interior parts due to their thicker material and deep imprint. The back seat covers are still the old non-Legendary I did about a dozen years ago.

Someone smarter than I can change the orientation.
