Not trying to step on any current posts.

Does January 19th 2019 work for the "Brunch"

????

I could do the week before or after too.

Have show tickets for both Friday and Saturday evenings but the day of the 19th works well.

Karl, I think anyone that's been to this before has locked in the 3rd Saturday of Jan. for the next 50 years since it's a great mid-winter gathering, so you're probably good IMO.  thumbsup

Others may have conflicts though.

Sorry to all with conflicts, the 19th will have to be the day.

Possible project:

Thinking of trying to get the white elky with all lines and clips for fuel and brake lines.
If we could install all the lines in a couple of hours we could then set the body on that car.

Have painted white shell on a roller frame, pretty easy to lift, slide out, slide in and drop on new body mounts.

Not something we haven't done before in a timely manner.

Cake walk, what are we going to do with the rest of the day...thumbsup

If I don't get my butt in gear, I may have to drag the Camaro down and do an engine swap, so Chris P can have his core back.

Engine will not be ready.
Install brake, fuel lines, set body on frame is current plan.

Also, weather permitting, we will have a nostalgic 65 Impala circle track on display.

I'd be happy to bring the Roadster down for the day... if someone's got an enclosed trailer and a lot of time Saturday. (It's also my only free weekend for awhile... back on Road Warrior duty)

The week preceding the Brunch I'm off the road (between TX & So.Cal).
The rub is the trailer... getting it/getting the car down to Lakeville, then back to the 40 Watt after the shindig.

(If the weather wasn't crappy (read that winter) I'd have no problem with a flatbed... Not gonna drag it through salt-spray.)

Karl, is there an official time for the brunch?  I think in the past you opened the doors around 11:30 a.m.?

Typically anyone who arrives before 12:00 gets put to work hauling tables etc.
I truly appreciate the help.
Also if someone has something to swap, sell, or re-gift best, to arrive around 11:30 ish.
We will serve about 12:30

Ron got the lines in frame.
Should be simple, swap body from roller frame to original reconditioned frame.
Note: roller frame and any parts on it is/are for sale.
Note #2: If we are too fast we can always strip the old roller bare.

I'm encouraging Adam the Dent Guy to be there by 11:30 to unload his equipment and get him set up in an area.
I plan to be there around 11:15.

Thanks for not sharing the crud Tony.  Sorry we won't see you at the Brunch, as I think that was the last time I saw you.  Hopefully I run into you this spring/summer/fall at some car thing.  beers
