The guy I know used to have the K K Transmission/Exhaust shop over on Buerkle Road and 61, before Kwik Trip bought the property. He is still doing tranny work (automatics only) but only in the winter time as he is now doing construction. Based on when you need it, here is the contact info I have on him. I did just talk to him. That is how I got the info.

Actually, he owned the building that Centerline is in. Dave bought it from him. I forgot about that. I wrote the info down and filed it for future reference, thanks !
I called Dick's Hot Rod Shop in Lakeville, where John went to work and John just called me back. He doesn't have a place to rebuild transmissions, yet, but he is going to convert mine back to lock up and help me get a low stall, lock up converter. Super nice of him to help me with this.
Now I need to schedule a differential gear change with the Pres...need to go to 3.42's for the lock up converter.

I was going to suggest tracking him down at Dick's HRS, but sounds like you were able to reach him.
I'm not surprised at all by his response. He's that kind of a 'good guy'.

I have been hesitant to do this, as I didn't know if he just wanted out of the tranny business completely, but he was very nice and seemed like he wanted to help, so yeah, I'm relieved.
Duane at TSI Burnsville does all our transmissions.
Built both a 700 for the blue Elky and a 200 4r for the cream colored 78 Malibu. Also went thru and freshened the 4 speed in Biskwik. He and John from Master are friends, he may not want to step on Johns toes. Duane is a first class guy. We also are neighbors in Lakeville.
VERY trustworthy!!!
Worth a try! Karl
