Well, I'm still under the influence of the "need more" addiction.

Brought this back from Denton, TX Saturday.  Original plan was/is to use the cab and clip on the rollback, BUT, as usual, now that I had a chance to see it in person, I may need to keep it intact...headscratch

Check out the personalized bumper ! Story is the dealership owner drove this during the model year and I suspect the bumper was his "advertising" to write it off... that is embossed rather deeply in 1/4" steel !! I wonder if it was done while the metal was hot.

Dang, that does look solid.  I'm surprised the guys from Gas Monkey Garage didn't snatch it up down there in Texas and make it a crazy tire burning farm truck!  gearbanger

I found plenty more on craigslist....all they need to do is look. Most had, somewhat, better paint and a price tag of 2-3 times what I paid for this.

Is it an a/c truck? I assume it runs and drives?

Runs well enough to load and unload itself. The right exhaust manifold is broken completely off, so I don't want to take it around the block until I change that.

Yep, A/C ps and power brakes.

Photobucket isn't working, so no pics...Imgonna

Nice truck! I think that cab will look great on your rollback! If that's what you want to do, go for it!
No sense looking for a worse one to start with.

The square body on your rollback is getting to be a pretty collectible body style too, so either way would be cool.

Thanks Derek ! You're right, I want a clean cab to start with and all the cab/clip combos I've found cost the same, or more, than I paid for this whole truck.
I gave in to the urge today and drove it around "the block", which is 2 1/2 miles. Dang thang runs really nice, transmission shifts smooth and firm, the brakes work, but I think the rears are set up more than the fronts. Steers pretty well too, but the ps pump pucks fluid out of a hose, I think and starts whining.
If I part it next year, someone is going to get a really nice box. It has a few dents, but no rust to speak of.
