Anything new on this ?? I have posted a thread about it on the Camaro website and am hoping to include a link from here for further info and possibly a map for the Camaro Club.

Yes there will be calendars there. I dont want to quote a time because im not 100 percent sure. I know there will be a swap meet again this year in the morning for members to sell stuff. Typically members show up hours earlier and set up a few stalls with stuff for sale. Last year I got there around 10 am and guys were setting up. I should probably let someone like Karl or anyone whom knows the actual scheduled time to arrive.

I emailed Karl a few days ago... He's been very busy at the shop, and will get me the details (to post) ASAP.

John has threatened my life if I don't update this. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Meal will be served at 1:00
I have more tables now. BRING CHAIRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Will confirm menu on Monday.

Swap Meet Starts at 12:00 or whenever you land.
Shop is open from 9:00 till 12:00 if you arrive early, so hang out or set up.

We will have a 1 1/2 or 2 hour session on dealing with spot welds. Grinding, cutting drilling.
Have the remnants of a 66 shell cut up for the A/c cowl. Will use that for demo.
Will start at about 2:00

Also I will spend some time teaching color sand and buffing.
Have doors, fenders and a hood painted and ready to go.
Will start about 3 or 3:30

Hands on for both!!!

As stated previously, Chevelle, Impala, Camaro, and Nova Clubs have been invited.

If any has something they would like to help or add as a demo, let me know.

Karl

Thanks for the update, Karl. I have been harping this at the Camaro Club for 2 months and they have it listed as a club function for January, so you could see more of them than last year.

The spot weld demo should be fun. It will be nice to actually see what bits actually do work. Seems there is always varying opinions on this sort of thing since it is never a fun job. Thanks for the update Karl. Looking forward to next Sat.

If I will be plug welding the new panel behind the weld, my favorite spot cutter is my plasma...cool
