Disposing of old gas?

Decided I should probably drain the old gas out of my tank before trying to get the Chevelle back on the road.  What do I do with it once it's out?  I'm already expecting it to be a chore being my only container is a 5 gallon gas can and my means af transporting it is the trunk of my car.  Since I'll need to make 3 - 4 trips I'm hoping I can disposes of it somewhere nearby.

You should be able to bring it to one of the dealers up there. If not, the county also probably has a recycling center or approved facility. You could also probably use it in the lawnmower or snow blower, soak it into some wood and burn it, or maybe it will just evaporate?

Put it in your daily driver. If it's a couple years old, it's probably better quality than the crap you bought today. These computer controlled engines adjust for all kinds of variances in fuel quality.

I usually mix it in my daily driver but not all at once. A gallon or a few at a time and mix it with fresh gas to top it off. You could fill your tank up at the gas station and when you get 3/4 of a tank, fill it up with the older gas. You might even save a few bucks to take the (future) wife out to dinner.
