Thinking of getting rid of motor/tranny from my Chevelle. Ran just fine when I took it out, I had a rebuilt 71' 350/TH350 to put in. Does numbers matching really matter on a 72' Malibu? $500 sound right?

I just started looking around for valve covers as mine were melted in the fire. I have Comp Roller Rockers so can't use my extra old stock ones as they won't be tall enough.
