So I figured I would post a few pics of a motor I am building for a friend of Mike S (oscar). Its a 327 going into a 1966 chevy II. So some specs are motor is 30 over with balanced rotating assembly. Block was decked, rehoned, and crank mains line honed. Heads are factory GM aluminum corvette L98 with just a...

I've never been totally happy with my tranny since it was built back in about 2001. It was essentially a new unit when I got it, but a stock 700R4 is still weak for a musclecar. I brought it to a place that did all the normal things like band change, vette servo, etc but they never really did anything for a shi...

Seems to be some interest in my '65 Corvair. This isn't a project car, per se, but may be in the future. I bought this for the engine but the car turned out to be MUCH more solid than was depicted. It has a 140 hp engine that will get swapped into a '66 Corsa when it gets here from CO. I was going to part this car ou...

Thought I'd start a new thread to capture what will be probably a year long journey on the changes I make to the '72 Malibu Vert from the original thread (Original Thread Link Paste). Not car related but what I have been working on lately. The manual crank for rotating the chute on my snowblower sucks. The manufacture wanted $600 bucks for their electric chute rotator so I decided to build my own. Bought a heavy duty wiper motor for an RV and fabricated all rest.

It started with selling off my factory shifter and console to another member at the Bowtie Brunch.... I just ordered the main piece this afternoon. The only hint I'll share right now is that I've been looking at lots of shifter balls.

I have an odd U joint at the rear. At sometime, someone replaced the rear tube yoke as it is NOT the standard 66 tube yoke. I think its an original driveshaft and the front tube yoke and slip joint yoke are of the standard 66 type, which uses a non grease-able 3010 u joint, with outside clips for both se...

Going to a dual piston caliper on the front of the camaro. This is a Baer serious street kit I believe is what that they called it. I don't know if they make this kit anymore. Anybody know anything about the Ford SOHC 4.6? A guy wants to hire me to put a "modern" motor in a 1941 Ford truck. Had another addition to my "if I ever meet the knucklehead engineer that designed this I'll...." file. My daughter's car "Sally" had lousy heat, and only Hi-speed on the blower.
