And Winter begins...
(Preview)
Drive home wasn't bad, but no salt on the side streets as of a few minutes ago. Got to try the new tires on ice, and so far so good. Heard some of the commutes home weren't fun for a few folks, including the car this morning that went in the overflow pond with the car full of kids. I hope they all turn...

Is it possible to change the ignition cylinder code on an old gm ignition cylinder?
(Preview)
Is this possible to change the code from say a 8966 to a 8985 on an old gm ignition cylinder? No locksmiths here in town that I can call. Seems to me that I recall you can take the cylinder apart and do something to change the code; but not sure. Thanks

Finally got a drive in!
(Preview)
Today was absolutely gorgeous, and finally a good day for a cruise! Tina and I drove to Fleet Farm in Lakeville this afternoon for some non-oxy, and a guy pulls up to the pump in an orange '70 Boss 302 Mustang that had 60K original miles. It was a 4 speed car, and numbers matching. We got to talking as he...

I replaced my wife's Honda (which I installed a remote start) with a used Lexus and she really liked the remote start, since she could warm up the car. I don't feel like trying to figure it again to do the install. I am looking for someone who knows what there doing, preferably in the NW to N metro. Thank...

Just for giggles I have been looking at the G force instruments like the GTECH SS. Anybody have/use one and are they as reliable and accurate as advertised? Priced a new Silverado
(Preview)
I like the looks of the new Silverado's and decided to do the on-line "build". To replace my current 2000 K1500 comparably equipped would be $40,000.. I'll wait until they are 4-5 years old and buy one used.
