Any good fall day, you enjoy when you can get it. I have been so booked, I have not even taken my boat out and hardly worked on the chevelle...maybe winter will be quieter.

Is this thing still alive or what?  dunno

I've been in Puerto Rico for work all week with no downtime, and no internet at the hotel at night, so kind out of commission.  But, wow.... days without posts?  Is everyone in front of their tv's watching the shutdown countdown?

Reminds me of another club's dead forum that also starts with 'Northstar C.....'s'.

What's everybody up to?  Can we breathe life back into this?

Wow... wierd karma..

I was thinking the very same thing... but "life" this summer (at least for us) has been totally screwed.

I haven't put TEN MILES on my car since AUGUST!! Between life, kids, etc., "Blackie" has been waiting for better days. The one time I took him out for a run I was rewarded with a blown rad hose and puking coolant all over and barely making it home.!

I don't know about anyone else, but having ZERO spring, INSTANT summer, then a zillion life-commitments & milestones in the 90 days of decent weather in 2013 - the car hobby got pushed to the back burner this year. We haven't been to a SINGLE Anoka or Hastings show this season!! (and Frankensteiner's isn't looking good either!)

Oh well, go with the flow and wait for '14.

overload here too. Ashley is now playing travelling basketball 3 seasons. From September until this weekend, every sunday has had at least 2 games, plus 2 team practices and home practice during the week. There's 3 games this sunday. Practice for the next league starts Tuesday and that's usually a minimum of 3 games per week until early March. Then spring travelling AND her school league start and run together.

Helping with the Cruise for Troops, finishing my old fridge (pics coming for Nov newsletter), making sure the other daughter doesn't feel left out, plus life in general has kept me pretty busy. The only TV I actually get to watch on a regular basis is jeopardy at 4:#0 because I'm getting dinner ready, otherwise it's on while multi-tasking.

I will be at Frankensteiners with news regarding Automania.

I am in the same boat, not sure I have started my car since the end of August.  Have had a lot of conferences for work, and another one later this month again.  Camaro is finally back from paint, and have barely had time to work on that as well?

I will be missing the November meeting, as the family and I are going on a cruise, departing that day.  I am hoping the schedule can return closer to normal by mid-November?

It will come back. We went thru this same cycle last year. Seems like from now until after Christmas, it gets quiet. Nothing to worry about.

The other NCC site, however..... I'm not sure why they keep that one alive...dunno

I think we're okay. It's a weird time of year, and it's been a weird year. I only made it to a couple events and meetings. One last car event this year (halloween deal with the kidlet) and we'll pack it away for the winter.

No kidding, Scott. We had snow until the middle of May and ice still on most lakes for the fishing opener. Summer was short and the last three weeks the weather has sucked....last Friday night for No. St. Paul, the weather sucked, last Saturday night for Hastings, the weather sucked, we tried to have a cruise, yup the weather sucked and Frankenstieners had snow flurries in the AM that turned to rain/drizzle. I'm not dealing well with a 3 month "summer"...angry

I never put the battery back in my scooter. It's still on the shelf waiting for the tender to get clipped on for the winter again..doh 3 vehicles are going into off-site storage on Saturday to make room for the GTO nightmare and possibly a new acquisition...dunno
