I was invited to join a friend in an autocross experience his wife got him as a gift. It is for two drivers so he asked me if I would be interested in driving a Ferrari and he was going to drive the Lamborghini. Of course I said yes! Then he sent me the ridiculous terms they want you to agree to and now I need t...

Restoration nightmares
(Preview)
I know I come off as very skeptical and negative about cars people post pics of and ask for opinions. I'd like to show 1 of the reasons why this is. This 1971 Camaro came into Centerline because the rear spring shackles were coming up thru the trunk floor. The owner wanted the rear frame rails REPAIRED. Th...

Enclosed trailer shopping
(Preview)
I'm looking to buy an enclosed trailer in the next few months. The main purpose for me will be to haul the Model T, which is only 12' long. I'd want to go at least 18' though to be able to haul any normal sized car. Only 6 more feet to 24' so, I can squeeze in 2 Model Ts. Now I wonder if my truck would be sufficient f...

On Saturday, I get my latest issue of Car Craft magazine. I start flipping through it and see a two-page ad for the 2015 Car Craft Summer Nationals in Milwaukee. Looking at a picture of the crowded scene at our fairgrounds, I spot someone familiar. Our Webmaster, John, is just walking out of the picture...

How do you remove a broken throttle plate blade screw from the throttle shaft?

Well, I tried to remove the screws that someone else installed. I wanted to put in the original type screws with the slotted head and the H back in. It looks like the guy used Red Locktight instead of blue or staking the screws. 1st one was OK. 2nd one broke. 3rd one OK, 4th one broke. I guess I...

Looking for the clip or a photo of the clip that holds the starter wiring harness to the block of a 66 Big Block

This is not the clip on the starter that holds the harness to the starter. It is a clip that was installed at the engine assembly plant that mounts on a bolt that hold the bell housing to the back of the block. Thanks.
