I doubt mine will be ready... should be running by then, but might be at Dad's getting the new hood/trunk painted.

Your "what" ?? Didn't you fetch another one after the March meeting stirpot

I haven't even put the batteries back in any of mine. Been working on the Camaro, but that is a long ways out yet.

I could fire up either the '38 or '62...headscratch

I bought fiberglass hood/trunk/bumpers to shed some weight off the Chevelle, and modified the hood with some home built heat-extractor vents.

I picked up a modified 2006 Z06 Corvette the day after the March meeting... unfortunately, buying a 600hp modern sportscar has kind of killed the motivation to work on the Chevelle that is obviously slower.

Not necessarily. They still have steel frames and suspension.

Derek, is the Z06 street worthy ? You could drive that.

The Z06 is a great driver, it's just ugly... previous owner put some really awful stripes on it. It's supposed to be Jenna's fun car, but I have driven it a lot more than she has so far. gearbanger

I plan to paint it orange next winter.

I registered for 10:00... they're asking to arrive 30 mins early, so 9:30.
The weather will choose which car.

A great time was had by all who attended!

It was fun to cruise down in the Welsh/Red Wing area again like we've done for Fall cruises.

Our little Chevelle group (+ Cutty and LeMans) got broken up pretty early since the front group was moving along a LOT faster than the middle of the group.  Still fun though.

If the Turquoise car was the pace setter, I can imagine the "pace"...laughing

The 3 of them came back up the WI side and stopped to harass us at our yard sale. The cars made a bit of a stir, sitting on the street...thumbsup

Didn't sell nearly enough of my late Mother's furniture, but I placed For Sale signs on the HHR and sold that.cool
