The Hastings show is now on SUNDAY's once a month, and expanded the newest year to 1995.  First show is Sunday, May 16th.

I can only find this on Facebook, so here's the details copied and pasted (I also shared it to the club's FB page):

LINK TO HASTINGS SHOW FACEBOOK PAGE

The Hastings Downtown Business Association along with the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Bureau are extremely excited to announce the return of the Historic Hastings Car Shows.
All shows this year will be on SUNDAYS from 11:00am until 4:00pm.
Also new this year...we have opened the field of qualified cars to 1995 and earlier.
The first car show of the year will be Sunday, May 16, 2021.
Then June 20th, July 18th, August 15th, and September 19th.

May be an image of text that says 'Hastings HISTORIC CAR SHOWS 2021 DATES MAY 16 JUNE 20 JULY 18 AUGUST 15 SEPTEMBER 19 All car shows are on Sundays 11:00am-4:00pm'

I'm not a fan of the changes. rolleyes

The atmosphere under the street lights late in the evening as things cooled off was what made that show so cool IMHO... On the bright side, I guess the car won't get covered in bugs on the way home anymore.

Yep, and '95 and older will bring in a LOT more Mustangs and Camaros. Wonder where they will park all the new-comers ?

I saw that announcement too & the same thing came to mind as well. The space accommodations were already tight. Especially after loosing the lot near the tracks. The one thing I see with moving it to 95 is it will attract more square body & GMT400 body style trucks & there are some sharp look 70's era Ford pickups running around these days too. Plus the entire generation of G bodies can now participate.

I guess we need to give it a chance but I agree that the changes are questionable. The biggest issue is still going to be parking.

Ice cream is always better on a Sunday afternoon!  I think that's in a song somewhere. laughing
