Who is planning to go?

Any interest in a club car-pool?

I like to leave around 4am, stop for a big breakfast in Janesville WI, and get to the show around 10am. Walk around until about 4pm, and get home around 10pm

When we went to TN last month the 42 mile stretch of I90 from south of Madison to Beloit was under major construction with restricted lanes and some exits closed thru that area. I'm sure it has changed since then, but getting recent info would be helpful to adjust drive time.

Yeah, I'm interested in going along. I missed the best one 2 years ago, for the 50th anniversary of the '66 cars, but I'm sure the show is still great.

I missed it 2 years ago too... got about 14" of snow that time, so we stayed home.
I really wanted to see the Hemi E-body convertible display that year.

You won't be dissappointed. There's 500 cars to look at, and most of them are six-figure + cars that you just don't get to see anywhere else.

Rachael and I have talked about going for years.  Maybe this is the year.   We were thinking about staying over near Chicago the  night before or after.  Kind of a long day for the over 70 crowd.

Jim, there are 3 others doing the same thing. Maybe check with the Pres, Hank, and see where they are staying and plan a rendezvous. I can't go on Friday night, so Derek and I will leave early Saturday. Hoping we can all meet up for a while during the day.

Thanks Hank for posting the pics.  What was the 'theme' this year?  I think it was barn finds the last year or so?

This is still on my bucket list.  Will need to plan better next year.

There are several themes going in different areas, but the feature draws were mostly Mopars, Super Stockers, Scat Pack and customs, etc.

It was a bit of a long day. I got up at 1:30, after 3 hours of sleep, left home at 1:55 and was at Derek's door by 3:23. We stopped in Rockford IL for breakfast and got to the show around 9:45. We stayed until around 5:15 and were back in Janesville, WI around 7 for dinner. I dropped him off again at 11:15 and was home at 12:35. 850 miles on the HHR.

I can't believe I didn't take any pics, but there was an original Z16 in the barn find section. Very rough and the hood wasn't open to see if it even had an engine, but it is supposed to be back next year, fully restored by a guy I "talk" with on a FB page and I got caught up in talking with him, instead of taking pictures.

I was looking through my pictures and noticed I didn't take any of the Z16 either.

I thought it was funny that '68 Biscayne had a sign that it was the only black L72 Biscayne known to exist... but there were 2 of them at the show.
