Well the 92 Camaro is getting closer to the finish line.

A friend Mick stopped over yesterday and spent about 4hrs on this thing he found a few problems.

A missing ground, two high resistance grounds, loose starter wires bad relay, cracked exhaust Y Pipe, wrong fuse in fuse panel

alternator installed upside down, broken serpentine bracket, distributor out 180 degrees, loose bolts and a few other items.

At least it cranks over and lights up now, need to find AC condenser now and Alt/PS serpentine bracket.

On the bright side my youngest in in drivers training itching to get his license. His brother is willing to just drive the Camaro

so I can use my truck. Have the Insurance Company loving my new premium costs for two teens drivers and I may have a job after a

being unemployed for over a month.

Well I can get it to fire but will not run and I still need a new Y pipe to fit the new heads. Gas is old as hell don't know if that is the problem or what the problem is.
Getting closer to running though.

Old gas is not your friend, you may want to try running of a tank of fresh gas. i did it before with a 5 gallon outboard tank with a modified hose.

Reset timing and lashed valves tighter some were not even close just loose. Fresh gas Aaron cranked it up last night and it did sound good with open exhaust. Now need to make up exhaust system and all of the other things that are the minor details. Hey maybe make a cruze this year or event. Have an interview Tuesday for a new job that is once again weekends. But need to feed the family and pay the bills.

The alternator that was on the car was only held on by one bolt and was the wrong style. Luckily had another one that when cleaned up would be the correct style and type to fit this car. Just all of this minor BS that just makes you want to pull your hair out.
On the employment front should find out Thursday or Friday this week if I landed a new gig at a medical company.

Valves really close to being set hard to hear with exhaust leak.
Hopefully this can be done and shakedown for a fall cruse.

Well Aaron has me bleeding the brakes telling me the brakes aren't working. Turns out his idea of not working was no vacuum to the booster note to self double check his work.banghead
