Budweiser has always been a patriotic company (although I don't like their beer) and I thought this would be fitting to post on the anniversary of 9/11.

My parent's generation had the Kennedy assassination, mine has 911.
They can remember exactly where they were on that Nov day in '63... I will always remember where I was 9/11/01

"Kum & Go" convenience store, Hutchinson MN. They had it on the TV's in the store, and while I was checking out the 2nd tower got clobbered.

November, 1963 6th grade classroom and the teacher was called out. When she came back about 15 minutes later she was crying and announced that the buses had been called and school was ending early that day. I didn't know why until I got home and turned on the TV.

September 11th, working locally with the Pete and end dump, when it was announced that a plane had hit one of the towers. A few minutes later the second plane hit and they realized it was an act of terror and announced ALL flights in the country had been grounded.

This was almost 8 years after Bin Laden truck bombed the North tower and, then president Clinton, refused to pursue him and imprison or kill him. 911 NEVER should have happened. Our government failed to protect this country.

Never forget 911 but never forget what allowed it to happen.

I've always enjoyed the Budweiser Clydesdale's. Got to see them in person for the first time this spring at Norwalk.
There commercials are always patriotic and warming. My favorite is the Clydesdale and dog commercial.
I'll never forgot where I was on 9-11.

I was 18 years old at the time, and was scared sh**less as I was nearly certain I'd be drafted off to war somewhere.

I was at work. It was the only time I can remember that we actually had the radio on where I was. it's usually too busy and the added noise would make it too loud.

My wife was over at her aunt's with out then 11 month old. She was just East of St Paul off White Bear Ave and I told her to leave immediately and get home. I told her to go straight north and avoid downtown. At the time, my head kept going through all the local targets we had near us: The Capital, downtown Minneapolis, the Federal ammo plant, the Guard training area in Arden Hills, Alliant Techsystems, etc.

It was a scary time.
