I know of this car.  It would be a great car for someone who would wants a nice 66 that needs no work.  I saw the car  when it was first brought here from CA, no rust except for a minor spot at the rear/ lower are a rear windshield.  Body was removed and frame powder coated.  All new interior.  New paint.

The owner runs a local auto repair shop that also use to have a body shop.  I was unaware he was selling it until today when I saw it on Craigslist.  I hardly ever see him driving the car.

Feel free to contact me, if you want more information.

I love that color! Looks like a nice car and the price isn't bad.

It's not an original color.  But similar to the aztec bronze.  It has a little metallic in it.  Painted by a excellent painter from Goodhue, MN.

Do you have any info on the painter and paint ?

I would have my SS painted that color in a heartbeat, even if it isn't "technically correct".

Looks similar to a factory color I had in my for my 66. Should have went that direction back in the day instead of blue, especially after seeing all the 66's at the last Hastings that were nearly the exact same color blue. With all the chips in the paint ive collected, I doubt they can be fixed without some real paint work. When that day comes, a color change is most certainly going to happen.

It's a Chrysler color, sunburst orange,   not sure of the year.    Mike Evans from Goodhue did the paint work.

Here it is on a corvette.

I've seen the Chrysler Sunburst/Atom and it is really Orange, like the link to the Vette.

The pics of the Chevelle on craigslist don't look anything like that orange. Must be the sun, or something...confused
