Honestly, I've never liked any car the Ring Brothers have ever built.

Their workmanship is fantastic, but the cars are always too gaudy for my taste.

I agree with much of the gaudiness in that 66. Was looking forward to seeing it since I heard Ring Bros were building a 66 for SEMA and its a bit much for my taste. The rear valence with those tailights definitely dont work on that car either IMO. They did do a nice job under the hood though.

That yellow Pantera they built was actually pretty killer though.

Looks like "Mad Max" crossed his pursuit car with a mil-spec H1, then went to "Pimp My Ride"...

It's too over the top for me. Their craftsmanship is top notch, but I think they get too excited in design and go over the top. Sometimes it just doesn't translate into a visually appealing car.

I saw the Pantera in person last year and it wasn't nearly as overdone. They included some pretty cool things, designed a ton into the little details that they're especially known for, but it still looked like "it should be that way".

Their stuff usually impresses me, but the word 'gaudy' is perfect for this one.

There is some gaudiness to it but i'd sure like to try those seats.

I agree with this. They have some neat ideas, but try to pack too many ideas into one car. Every part of the car is changed, even if there's no purpose for the change. They also try to tie too many different styles together... imitation racecar in some areas, and unnecessary stuff that does nothing but add weight in others.

...and exposed fasteners. Too many exposed fasteners (peeve of mine)

Like the lines, except for the off-road look of the front Bumper. Not my taste in wheels, remember I am 64 y/old.
The ww2 Bomber seats don't look too comfy.

Guess I just keep fumbling along.

Steering wheel looks stolen from an arcade game. I like the blacked out windshield trim and the basic stance, and I wouldn't turn away 980 hp and a Tremec - otherwise, I wish they'd pick on someone else's car.

That harness-bar just baffles me... who puts door bars on a harness bar, and why would you want all the inconvenience of a rollcage, with none of the safety?
