St. Peter Show/Swap Meet Sunday, September 21st

I went there the one year we had the meeting down there. Im supprised I hadnt heard of it until then. Thats a pretty good show. Quite a nice sized swap meet and the show was bigger then I expected.

When I went to college down there, I actually walked to it (since I didn't have a car there at the time). Was a decent show back then (1991/1992).

Used to be two days, but if you get nice weather it is still one of my favorites. Might make it, will have to see what is going on and weather is like. Getting the 71 aligned today, might make a decent test run. I have had it out three, four times since Derek's with no issues. It is scheduled to head down to Springield Il next weekend, about 800 miles round trip. More worried about keeping people 20' away than not making it back.

Yeah, we could give him a good NCC send off if a few of us show up with Chevelles!

I'm driving to St. Peter without Tina, but then our son is dropping her off at the show on the way back to Mankato, so I will have to see if I can talk her into saying goodbye to Rick on the way home that afternoon. At least it's in the SW metro, so not too far out of the way for us.

Lets meet at the Clark gas station at 7:00 AM in New Market . Also called fish Rock. On Hwy 2 . https://www.google.com/maps/search/new+market+clark+gas+station/@44.5731233,-93.3524764,17z We can cruise through New Prague on 19 to 169 . Just south of Bell plain. We can meet any one else that would like to go on the on ramp at 8:00AM. It would be nice to know who might be going so we can wait for who ever might be running late.

Moved the Malibu to the front garage, it's all gassed up, the cooler and munchies are packed, and I'll be in New Market at 7 A.M. Should be a great morning for a drive!

Nice drive down to St. Peter early this morning, walked the swap meet for an hour and a half with John D., ran into Arnie, then Dan W. and his friend stopped over at the car for awhile, then the drive home watching the 'Gen' idiot light and waiting for the battery to drain enough that the disty quit working and stranding me, but made it home just fine.

There were lots of cool cars that I haven't seen before, and the swap meet was huge but I didn't find anything I had to have.

Another nice late summer (technically) day!
