looks like a true SS.  Correct grill, remote drivers mirror, drivers sport mirror, round guage dash.  if advertised right, this on Ebay could flip into profit if you found a build sheet and the block numbers matched.

 I'm thinking he got it for a bargain and is flipping it.

Interesting... it could be an SS, but with the interior from some other car, a Malibu grill, etc., it isn't worth that kind of money in that condition without a build sheet, original invoice, or other documentation to bring even SS 'project' money IMO.  I would put it at $8-9K best case. 

It's a whole lot rougher than the green '72 SS clone I picked up in WI a few years ago for $7K.  I've learned to recognize those nasty frame and floor pan rust signs thanks to the vert restoration, and this one has those signs.

Is it just me or does the passenger door panel look water damaged to anyone else?

Yeah, the door trim panels look wavy and almost lit it has loose material. Seat covers front and rear look saggy too.

Pictures can be deceiving, in this case they may be making the car look better than it is. I think if someone looked at it in person they would be disappointed. If the rest of the car is the same quality as the interior work it's a bomb.

Anybody remember where the price started on this one?  It's at $10,500 now, and for some reason I thought he was around $12K?  Maybe a reality check occurred...

I am with Tom though that it has all the right parts for a true SS: Boxed Lower control arms, rear sway bar, blacked out headlight rings, SS steering wheel, etc.  Looks like the original interior and bucket seats disappeared years ago though since it's the wrong buckets and the door panels do look goofy.  If he had any documentation at all, it would be worth $5-7K more.  Especially if it's a true 4 speed car.
