Natural Gas Bill....

25% higher than last year at this time. I'm talking cost per therm. Last month was 10% higher than the previous year.  Anyone else seeing this?

I'm with Minnesota Energy Resources.

I just love these double digit percentage increases in everything. Wish my pay would jump 25%. :(

You could be on LP or fuel oil.

My fuel oil bill from the last week of December through the third week January (about four weeks) was over $650.00. My first month on natural gas with the new furnace was $105.00.

I hear ya on how all the prices we pay jump double digits and our income doesn't. Like Tony, our's with Xcel is up too, but not that much.

Dashboard is right, be glad you aren't on LP. Derek must be gritting his teeth every time the furnace starts, which with the horrendous winter we've had must be every 10 minutes. Our temp this am is negative 13 AGAIN or still or whatever. I'm really tired of this weather pattern.

I am very glad that I'm connected to one of the world's largest natural gas reserves. Last I heard we had a glut of the stuff. That's why it angers me even more. 25%?!!?? Really?

Good old American business model of supply and demand. This year the demand is way up so they can charge more and we have to pay it, just the same as with gasoline. Last week that shot up to 3.55 gallon around here.

Yup... used up the last of my contract last week (1000gal @ $1.39) and am now paying retail price. angry

I was fortunate to contract enough to make it past that big price spike a few weeks ago, so I'm now burning $2.69 gas compared to some who paid over $5.00
