I'm ready to move. I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO sick of this snow and cold !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This one is wet, heavy and slippery. I can hardly move it with the plow.

Gotta get it pushed back to make room for all the cars on Saturday...thumbsup

I got the worst of the wet, heavy snow plowed last night about 9:30.

School is closed and I don't see where the road has been plowed at all yet.

Jon, may as well plan to return around mid-May...Censored

How are you guys down south doing? Dan, how's Iowa. Talked to Jon last night he's suffering through dry dusty mid 70s and feeling a little stiff from all the motorcycle riding.

We had snow then heavy thunderstorms here yesterday and now more snow so we're getting ready for the spring flooding.

Got up at 5 to clear the driveway. Helped push a neighbor down the street (we'd need those tracks to get out anyway). made it to work fine.

yesterday, our GM sales rep put out a contest: Whichever Twin Cities GM dealer sells the most cars (yesterday) will get the vehicle inventory on their lot cleared by all of the area GM reps. This includes the accessory reps, sales, amrketing, etc. They brought coffee and doughnuts too. Gives our sales guys a little break.

I drove all around the south and western suburbs all day today for work and every trip to all 10 houses sucked. Crosstown 62. 494 between bloomington/Edina. 100. 169. None of them improved at all the entire day and it was pretty much rush hour traffic from 7am to 6pm.

We got all ours after maybe 3 o'clock or so. I'm guessing maybe a foot of really wet heavy crap. Snow blower gave up a couple of times but made it through it eventually. Haven't been out to the shop yet, I'm sure it is a mess. Not real high on the priority list of the guy clearing the lot, will have to talk to him, cashes my check plenty fast.

Snow tires on a 4x4 = no need to plow anything cool

I backed out of the garage and looked... someone was stuck in the middle of the road about 100' from the driveway in a 4x4 truck. Neighbor was giving him a tug with his Oliver 1855.

I figured if I could make it to the road, that was my test to decide if it was worth driving in. Made it, pushing snow with the front bumper much of the way for the entire 10 miles. I was the only one who made it to work today... got caught up on some office work without any distractions.

The snow is now higher than the chute on my snow blower which is how deep the snow is in my yard.  Even higher along the street where the plow has deposited it's bounty!  I believe that this is the deepest the snow pack has been at my house since I have lived here. angry

I spent this morning in the surgery waiting room. My wife slipped on the ice and broke her elbow! She needed one screw and one pin to put it back together. Now 6 weeks in a cast. I will be pulling double duty at home and at work. Damn mn winter. I'm so out of here soon.

Sorry to hear that Ron.  Take good care of her.

I think we are all in a funk with this winter, and it's gotten so old we forget to be extra careful after a storm like the last one!

That's too bad she had severe pain. Did they give her any pain meds that don't destroy the stomach ??
Hopefully she will have less pain as each day passes.
