Going down to Tulsa OK in a week or two to pick this up... http://tulsa.craigslist.org/pts/4127614574.html

I've been looking for a Weaver Auto Crane for a year now, and finally found one. cool

I can pull a trailer and split costs if anyone wants some solid southern car or parts hauled up.

That will look really nice on the TT truck!  Were they a gear reduction hand crank lift?

Yeah, it's hand-cranked...

The truck will look like a shinier version of this when done: http://www.mtfca.com/discus/messages/257047/323315.html?1353683585

I will probably also mount it further forward just for the sake of saving garage space.

The door will be painted "Kiefer & Sons Ford Garage"

Looks a lot bigger mounted on the truck than in the craigslist ad.

Had to chuckle at "Camel Towing"laughing

Wanna swing thru Denver on the way back and pick up a car....laughing

Cool crane, just be VERY careful if you actually ever lift something. People used to get broken arms when the crank swung free on the down stroke.

Is that what they were using when you were a kid, as you seem to be speaking from experience or saw it happen?   razz

Just kiddin' Mitch!  laughing

Actually, I did work at an used car lot in '68 and the owner had a broken arm from a hoist very similar to that...so yeah, I'm OLD...rolleyes
