The Shed in Warroad

The Camaro Club has an organized tour of the The Shed set for Sept 13-14th. They have a block of rooms reserved at the Patch Motel next door at slightly reduced rates. I talked to Bob, the owner, at Car Craft and anyone is welcome to attend from the Chevelle Club too. We usually leave at noon on Friday and stay overnight to do the tour on Saturday. I was initially thinking of going, but with the callendar filling up quickly, I may not.

Join us for a private tour of The Shed, a private collection of extremely rare Camaro's and other muscle and classic cars (+75 cars!) in Warroad, Minnesota owned by Bob Marvin of Marvin Windows.

The tour will be held Saturday, September 14th in Warroad Minnesota (801 State Ave N. • Warroad, MN, 56763). The Shed will be open to us at 9:00 AM and be available throughout the day. We may be visiting on Friday night as well. Since this is a 6 ½ hour drive to Warroad, we will be leaving Minneapolis on Friday around noon from club member Aaron's home in 31846 Forest Blvd, Stacy, MN and returning to Minneapolis after the tour on Saturday.

We'll be staying at the Patch Motel and have a block of 10 rooms available for club members to reserve. You're on your own to book and pay for your room accommodations so buddy up if you want to split the cost! Room rates: single rooms, no smoking, about $58.00 + tax per night. Double rooms, no smoking, about $75.00 + tax per night. Reserve your room as soon as possiblefor best availability! The Patch Motel has a grill and lounge. The Shed and the Patch Motel are within a 100 yards of each other so we'll be walking between these locations. There are other motels in the area should our rooms become filled.

It's the responsibility of each participant to make their travel arrangements and motel accommodations with each person responsible for their room payment.

I'll be out of town that weekend.

It's pretty far for most of the members... we have a hard time getting some to go to meetings within 30 miles of where they live here in the metro.  razz

Too many things here to cut loose for this, but there will be a group from the Camaro Club up there.
