I have contacted Chad about doing a demo here sometime in late August or September. He wants to know hat people want to see....products, procedure, do we have a car to demo on, etc. Before I go any further, who is interested in this and would attend this event at my location ? We could incorporate this into the Aug or Sept meeting too.
Respond here ASAP as I would like to get back to him before he is booked out the rest of the year...
Officers, let me know if this is an "approved" event. I do have a couple pizza places that will deliver here for a large enough order.
Since I am not a painter I would be interested in: 1.) Restoring older paint. 2.) Proper tools and the differences in, buffers, foam pads, wool bonnets, towels, etc. for the average car guy. 3.) Compounding and polishing tricks and tips on existing paint.
Naturally he is going to need a shelter to work in. Seeing that he is one of the top professionals, I would think that would be his first requirement. Either by use of a mobile outdoor shelter like what Craig had set up in his shop for example or any sort of easy-up like tent you can park under. Or perhaps just setting up inside the building if its even open for the show.
Otherwise, a few nicely painted test panels without having to use an entire car would work for his purpose too.

While you guys were busy arguing about the glass of water. I drank it!
Most likely, the building will again not be accessable. It's just too hard to then control people once inside. Even roping an area off has not worked in past things we've done, people sneak away and wander.
