Torque Wrench

For a good budget one I would consider the Craftsman one. Tip on click type torque wrenches no matter if they are inch or foot lbs types. Always make sure you turn it back to zero when your done using it and putting it away. Keeps them calibrated for years that way.

My choice was the Sears Craftsman wrench when I wanted one for a lot of the fasteners on our motorcycles. I also bought a Harbor Freight torque wrench primarily for lug nuts on our vehicles. I was surprised to recently read in one of my car magazines (Hot Rod, I think) that the HF torques wrenches were very accurate in a test of a variety of manufacturer's tools. I suppose they might not be so good in a shop where they would get a lot of use.

I recently borrowed one from Autozone. They have them on their free loaner program. I didn't buy one cause I just wouldn't use it enough to justify it for me

Thanks Steve and I’ll accept your offer. I would like to have one in my tool box however, so I’ll keep looking. Neither the local Sears nor Northern had one on the shelf I may swing by Harbor Freight after the Buick show and check theirs out.

How was the turn-out for cars ? If I had heat in my '38 I would've gone.

I've spent my day doing gravel clean up from plowing and pulling seedling trees that had established in my pine trees. Now I'm going to gather all the branches laying around from the heavy snows we had.

I would say the turn out was light but growing, did see some club guys though. The sun was just coming out and it was turning into a nice day as we where leaving. There where some very nice cars there and several nice ones for sale.
