Anybody been tracking this on Team Chevelle, or receive the Dec. issue that knows if it's official?

I'd say by the copy of the magazine pages, it's official.

Chuck hits too close to home with the aging syndrome. I need to be 20 years younger.

A well-written obituary, a very sad sign of the changing times, we are so fortunate to enjoy the small club we have. We realize at our Christmas get together and other events we are as much a social group as we are a car club.

Cars come and go, ask Stan; true friendships last forever, let us enjoy the moment.

Yup. Like I have said before. Its not really about the cars in this club anymore. Its about the comaradrie and hanging out amongst friends.

Thats the core to any club ! No matter if its a car truck or M/C or even a poker club. Its all about the  "FRIENDS" that are the living Club.  thumbsup

I never joined ACES. I just didn't see the benefit. I like all of you guys,a nd we actually do car stuff together. I think local clubs make a lot more sense.

probably quite a few over the years. I'm with Scott, I much prefer a local club. I only go on TC maybe every other week now even. Just too much going on and a national club doesn't do it for me.

We went to Chevelle-a-bration probably 7-8 times and at least one regional a year for the last 10 years. Kind of strange that I have only been to Car Craft 2-3 times, only once with a car. cuckoo Kind of a whatever floats your boat type of thing. Some of the people I consider my better friends I have met through ACES/Team Chevelle, includeing a bunch of you guys from Northstar. party

I was a member until I sold my El Camino.  Intended to re-up.  Oh well.

I spent many nights on the phone with Chuck 10 years ago, and even got sheets of address labels of all the ACES members in MN and IA to invite them to our first meeting at Karl's. Our first by-laws were a combination of those from different ACES affiliated clubs, which Chuck sent me.

Much of our initial success that got this club off the ground is owed to Chuck's efforts to help us get going.

I've been to Chevelle-abration twice, and the Ohio and Kansas Regionals once each. ACES will be missed, but the "Regionals" will go on... I suspect the location and popularity of the Ohio show will make it the de facto "continuation" of Chevelle-abration whether they want to be or not.

I always wanted to make it to Chevellabration and it always seemed something came up in the spring prior that prevented me from being able to make it. Usually financial. Kind of breaks my heart that I wont get that chance now. Seems strange not to have a national club for Chevelle and El Camino's now.
