Very cool car. No Dashboard never saw it. I have to be honest with ya. Now that I have made my decision to go the route I am going, I am jumping in with both feet and my wallet. I am building my dream Muscle car. The way I want it, not the way someone else would. As in I am building this one for me not to turn around and flip. I have worked hard and have earned it. I am West Coast, and out there we like them low, loud and fast....That is what is coming on my build....

Way to go man. You don't have to sell me on West Coast style or function....! Low and fast is the way to go, and you can still have plenty of fun at the drags!

Agree Scott. Been doing lots of research. I don't do thermally stuff that you and Derek do, but I am going to go with a Ridetech Airride system. Not hydraulics, just raise up and down. Found my rims, 20" on back 19" front. Doing cross drilled with Wilwood calipers up front!! Will be fun!! And the nice thing is it is all bolt on. Can remove later if needed.

True Stan but I luckily have learned from those past mistakes of so much fabrication. Planning on only doing bolt on this time. Easily to be able to be put back to stock if needed.

Mine is all bolt-ons, suspension-wise.

To make it better, I'd have to cut into it. I think it's pretty good now.

I like the RideTech stuff too- but its too spendy for me and I had nowhere to hide the air tank in the wagon.

Lots of guys are running hard with that setup though- it works great.

Bryan- no...the gas filler neck is over there, and the tank they sell is too long AND too wide to fit in there. I considered that space when we were mounting the nitrous bottle and there's no way it would work. The nitrous is in the spare tire well on the r/h side now- I'd planned to try and keep a spare in the car but that's impossible now. I might have been able to stuff a 17x8 in there but I wanted nitrous more. LOL!!


I'm fine with coil springs and double-adjustable shocks anyways. I looked into RideTech when I started the wagon project and they didn't have the good stuff they have now, and there was the fitment issue for the tank. But the only real advantage to it for me now would be the ability to drop the car super low when it's parked. I've had other cars/trucks that could do that, and while it's cool I don't think I 'need' it anymore. I'm really happy with the wagon the way it is (suspension-wise) as I can adjust it to work pretty darn good no matter where we're hammering on it.

Are we sufficiently off-topic now? LOL!!
