My son raced buses last night as a special event at the track. The bus was supposed to tip on it's side. They do that all the time. If you watch the video you'll see it went a little farther than that. Not a good thing for a parent to watch

Man, that had to be tough to watch!  I'm assuming he's o.k.  At least it seemed to happen in slow motion.

Was he strapped in with a harness?

He is okay and was harnessed in. It sure wasn't planned that way.

What a waste, Rick could have used that bus for his motor home.

But I'm assuming no roll bar for when the roof caves in....hyper

I would like to drag race my Pete somehow. I bet my 17,000# truck would run in the 17's...thumbsup

They are adding roll cages now. We honestly thought he was hurt or killed. Not a good feeling. It gives me the creeps everytime I watch it. I am close to my kids and this just scared the **** out of us.

Wow, I would say a bit un-nerving is right. Especially when the only real part of the bus that caved in was the very front where the driver is. Glad to hear he is all right.

Thanks, he has the Shakopee grade school route starting next week. It should be very memorable for the kids!
